AIna (“AIna”, “we”, “us”) helps aspiring content creators plan and improve their videos. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. Questions: aina.webapp@gmail.com.
1. Who we are
Zeynep Kaplan operates AIna and is the data controller. Contact: aina.webapp@gmail.com.
2. What we collect
- Account. When you sign in with Apple, Google, or email, we receive your email address, and your name and profile photo if your provider shares them. Sign-in is handled by our provider, Clerk.
- What you tell AIna. Your onboarding answers, the creator profile we generate, your weekly plans, video ideas, chat messages, and reports.
- Screenshots and videos you share for feedback. If you send a screenshot of your video stats, or a video for a pre-post review, we process it to give you feedback. The image or video itself is not stored on our servers; we keep only the written feedback we return to you.
- Notifications. If you enable them, we store an Apple push token to send your reminders.
- Usage. We keep a minimal internal record of in-app events (for example, that a plan was generated) to run usage limits and improve the app. We do not use any third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.
3. What we do not collect
We never ask for or access your TikTok, Instagram, or any social account. AIna does not log in to, post to, or read your social profiles. We do not collect payment card details; Apple handles all payments.
4. How we use your data
To create your profile, plans, ideas, feedback, and reports; to send the notifications you enable; to run your subscription and usage limits; and to keep the app secure and improve it.
5. AI processing
To generate your profile, plans, ideas, chat replies, and screenshot feedback, we send the relevant text and images to Google’s Gemini API. Under our paid API terms, Google returns a result and does not use this content to train its models.
6. Payments
Subscriptions are sold through Apple. Apple processes your payment and shares with us only what we need to confirm your subscription status, such as the product and its expiry date, not your card details.
7. Where your data is processed
Your data is stored on our backend and database, and processed by service providers including Clerk (sign-in), Google (AI), and Apple (payments and notifications). Like most internet services, they may process and store data outside the country where you live.
8. Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account and its data at any time in the app: Profile, then Delete account. You can also email us to request deletion.
9. Your rights
Wherever you live, you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, and object to certain processing. Email aina.webapp@gmail.com and we will respond.
10. Children
AIna is intended for people aged 16 and older and is not directed to children under 16. If you are under the age of majority where you live, please use AIna with a parent or guardian’s consent.
11. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data. No method is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your information safe.
12. Changes
We may update this policy. We will post the new date at the top and, for significant changes, let you know in the app.
